Activities - Adults



The latest Walking For Health programme runs from April 2019 until March 2020.

We walk 6 days a week and have walks to support everyone.  Walks vary in length from 30 - 90 minutes and are graded from easy to hard. 

There are also longer walks run outside of Walking For Health for those looking for an extra challenge. 

Walking for Health Qualified Walk Leaders are always there to assist and advise on all walks.

Everyone is welcome and the walks are FREE!

Please see our full programme via the link below the image for times, dates and meeting points. There is no need to book, just come along on the day you want to join us. We recommend that everyone starts with an ‘easy’ walk. 

Please aim to arrive 15 minutes before the start time to allow for registration.

Zumba Gold for Adults is a fun, dance based workout suitable for everyone, but is particularly aimed at those who seek a less intense workout. Ideally, this would suit older adults (50+), those new to exercise or those returning to exercise.

Where: St. Helens Church Hall, Rainham, RM13 9YU
When: Every Tuesday, 10am – 11am / Every Friday, 10.45am – 11.45am
Cost: £4 per session (no booking required)

  • 6 week block 17th Oct to 21st Nov


Our friends at Effective Fitness Now are delivering a new Pilates programme starting this September. Based at the Stables Cafe in Rainham, sessions will run for 6 weeks straight.
