Memory Lane
The London Borough of Havering invite you to take part in a wonderful creative heritage project called Memory Lane. Reminiscing is an important part of life for everyone and we are inviting you to share your memories. This could be a place or building that holds a special place in your hearts. We want to bring to life your stories and experiences, history and heritage of our borough. Copyright laws apply. All submitted works may be shared on all of Havering Council’s social media accounts.

Creative of the Month
Have you got the scoop on something local and creative that we should know about? Spotted a piece of public art work that we could share? Participated in a brilliant art class in person or online that we should know about? Found local opportunities that you would recommend to others? Or are there creative activities you would like to see locally that are not already in place? We want to hear from you!

Para Arts for Adults
A five week arts programme is set to launch in October 2021 in South Hornchurch. These tailored sessions for adults with disabilities will take place on Wednesday afternoon, 1.30pm from October 13th.

Children’s after school crafts classes
Creative workshops where children explore and learn skills such as drawing studies, perspective, basic colour work.
Monday 4.30-6.30pm starting 20/9. Cost £65 for 10 weeks
Thursday 4.30-6.30pm starting 23/9. Cost £65 for 10 weeks
Saturday Arts Scheme
Art – 10-12pm starting 18/9. Cost £65 for 10 weeks.

Havering Arts Festival
Presented by Havering Arts Council and Havering Arts Development, Havering Arts Festival Online will be promoting and celebrating arts and cultural activity across the borough throughout the summer. Local artists, performers and arts organisations are invited to contribute content and opportunities for people of all ages.
